Before adding a release, please search thoroughly and double check that it doesn't already exist in the database!
Release Title
- Enter the full, official title of the release.
- Use the exact title as it appears on the release, including any subtitles or special characters.
- Avoid abbreviations unless they are part of the official title.
- Ensure proper capitalization (e.g., "The Best of" not "the best of").
Artists
- All artists that are a part of the release must be added, no exceptions! If a compilation has 12 artists on it, be sure to include each one of them.
- If an artist doesn't appear in the dropdown, you may need to add them to the database first.
- Ensure you've selected all relevant artists before submitting.
General Guidelines
- Double-check the spelling of both the release title and artist names.
Make sure you're adding the main unique release, not a specific pressing or edition (you can add those details later). - Once you submit the form, the system will check if a release with the same title and artist combination already exists.
- Once the release is added you can add Pressing Information - details like the specific pressing number, release date, label, variant info, etc. You can also upload photos.
