Before You Delete
Deleting your account is a permanent action and cannot be undone. All of your personal data, content, and history will be permanently removed. Even if you sign up again using the same email address, your previous data will not be restored.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
If you proceed with deletion, the following will occur:

Your profile and personal information will be permanently erased.

All items in your collection, along with any uploaded photos, will be deleted.

Posts you’ve made in the community will be anonymized.

Any listings you have in the marketplace will be removed.

Pressing submissions you’ve contributed will be anonymized.

All of your active sessions will be logged out and access will be revoked.
Things to Consider
If you currently have any open orders, pending transactions, unresolved balances, or an active subscription, you may not be able to delete your account immediately. In such cases, you will be asked to submit a deletion request and our support team will follow up with next steps.
If you would like a record of your collection, we recommend exporting your data before proceeding with deletion.
If you have an active Pro subscription, it will be automatically canceled once your account is deleted. If you believe you're eligible for a refund, you may contact us at support@deadformat.com.
How to Delete Your Account

Log in to your Dead Format account.

Go to Account Settings.

Scroll to the bottom of the Profile section and click “Delete Account.”
If your account is eligible for immediate deletion, you’ll be asked to confirm your choice. If there are issues that prevent automatic deletion, you will be guided through submitting a request for support.

Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Can I reuse my email address to sign up again?
Yes. You can create a new account using the same email address, but it will not retain any previous data.
What happens to my marketplace history?
Your active listings will be removed, and any past transactions will be anonymized for recordkeeping purposes.
